Camera send data to LA from its display, not a lens

Hi.

I’m trying to connect a camera (not webcam, but Canon 700D) to LA. Actully I’ve already done that, following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0M9i4NPJKzA&t=184s; the only problem is that camera takes data from its display, which means that a texture, produced by camera, includes borders and additional data like FPS, reso, ISO etc.

Any ideas how to fix that?

Hello,

Thanks for posting on our Answerhub!

I am afraid LightAct cannot change what your camera sends to it.

However, you might want to try Texture Crop or Pad node to extract the area you are interested in.
